Here’s all you need to know about our upcoming auditions for SLEEPING BEAUTY – to be performed in the FIRST week of December 2024 with a 16 week rehearsal process prior.
Performance Dates: 3rd - 7th December 2024 at Lipson Cooperative Academy, Plymouth.

IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ONE OF THE FOLLOWING ROLES YOU WILL NEED TO AUDITION ALL ROLES REQUIRE COMEDY, AND EVERYONE WILL BE EXPECTED TO SING AND DANCE AT SOME POINT! PLEASE READ THE SCRIPT BEFORE THE AUDITION AS IT WILL HELP YOU WITH CHARACTERISATION OF THE ROLES. NURSE JESTER BEAUTY HANDSOME MALEVOLENT FIRKIN JIPS FAIRY QUEEN KING HORACE QUEEN DORIS YOKEL
YOU WILL NOT NEED TO AUDITION FOR THE FOLLOWING PARTS. THESE PARTS WILL BE ALLOCATED AFTER THE AUDITONS HAVE TAKEN PLACE. FAIRIES – will do all musical numbers apart from the opening of Act 1 & final number in Act 2 as you will be dressed in character. PRINCE (FEATURES IN THE DANCE OFF) - will do all musical numbers apart from the final number in Act 2 as you will be dressed in character HANDMAIDENS - have their own scenes and musical numbers and will not be in ensemble numbers HENCHMEN - have their own scenes and musical numbers and will not be in ensemble numbers
